Diamond Pave was originally incorporated in 1988 and since then has grown to one of the largest block paving and landscaping companies in Essex. Below are the steps to follow to book your free consultation.
Contact us via phone, email or letter (visit the contact us page for more information) and we will arrange an appropriate time to meet. All consultations are FREE!
Visit & consultation. We will arrive at your premises on time, at the agreed time and date. We pride ourselves on our ability to be polite and professional, and will handle each visit exactly this way. We measure and evaluate the desired area for optimum results. This can take between 15 – 20 minutes.
Design & plan. We will draw, with you, a detailed, agreed design on which to undertake. Whether you want a small area of quirky block paving, to an entire estate landscaped each project is treated with great attention to detail and with utter precision.
An accurate quote (documented with all the pricing, design and time it will take) will arrive at your doorstep within a couple of days. This is a NO OBLIGATION quote and all contact with us can cease here if you no longer require our services.
Work to commence. If you decide that our quote is satisfactory and you wish for us to begin work, we will discuss with you an appropriate time for this. There is no deposit required.
Completion. Once the work is complete, (time of completed work varies between each project) we will vacate the area – leaving it clean and tidy. Each project comes with our 5 year guarantee. Once there is a satisfactory completion of the contract, we will only then request the payment.
A: It ill be within 24 hours or possibly straight away! Upon the completion of the project, your paving should be fully functional. We will be sure to tell you if otherwise, and advise on when it will be ready.
A: No. For the best quality, the old driveway will be removed and lifted and the ground prepared for our sub-base. The new driveway will be laid on perfect foundations this way, guarantying you 5 years of perfect functionality.
A: Upon our initial consultation and visit, we will likely tell you the timescale. However, to give a guide, a standard sized driveway on a semi-detached home will take 3-4 days.
A: Firstly, we keep mess to a minimum so that your property maintains its appearance. We are also respectful that you will want your neighbours to be comfortable too as the work is undergone and we keep a polite, professional manner with all the projects we take on.
A: We understand you will need to continue your daily errands / go to work / school run. This means being present during the duration of the work may be impossible. As long as there is easy access to the rear of your property then it is not required for you to be there at all times.
A: No, you will not need planning permission when having a new garden fence installed, but there are 4 exceptions that you will need to consider. You will need planning permission if the fence is:
Higher than 2 metres.
Is next to a road/footpath and approximately 1 metre high.
Some councils have planning conditions relating to garden fencing (under ‘article 4 direction or planning condition’)
If it is going to be on or attached to a listed building.

A: Of course, if you have already had plans made up then we can work with these. We will have to double check that the design is accurate (as previous designs may neglect manholes and drains), but this is not a problem. If we do find that there is something missing or wrong, then we can add this to your plans so you know that the project will be completed properly.
A: There are many paving slabs to choose from and each one is ideal for its own unique reason. However, the quality of the paving slab does depend on the manufacturer. We can help you to decide on what paving blocks to go for. We always recommend that you look for strength, water absorption and abrasion index.
